One cabinet, two cars, up to 360 kW

The VT-DF is our main public fast charger. Two connectors hang from the top of a floor-standing cabinet, and the power is shared between them automatically: a single vehicle can draw the full output, and when a second vehicle plugs in the power is split.

Two electrical families

  • IEC versions (VT-DF60 to VT-DF300): 230/400 V input, 150–1000 V DC output, CCS2 + CCS2 or CCS2 + CHAdeMO.
  • North American versions (VT-DF60-NA to VT-DF360-NA): 480 V input, 200–1000 V DC output, CCS1, NACS and CHAdeMO, NEMA Type 3R enclosure.

Sizing a fast-charging site

Site type Typical choice
Fleet depot, vehicles stay 1–2 hours VT-DF60 – VT-DF120
Retail and destination charging VT-DF120 – VT-DF180
Highway and high-turnover hubs VT-DF240 – VT-DF300 (IEC), up to VT-DF360-NA

The vehicle’s own maximum charging power limits what any charger can deliver — check the fleet mix before choosing the highest output.

Features

  • Dynamic power sharing

Two connectors share the cabinet's power automatically — one car can take everything, or two cars split it.

  • Scalable power

The same cabinet is built from 60 kW up to 300 kW (IEC) or 360 kW (North America).

  • Every major connector

CCS2 and CHAdeMO for IEC markets; CCS1, NACS and CHAdeMO for North America.

  • Advertising revenue

An optional 21-inch screen turns the charger into a digital advertising display.

  • Operator-ready

OCPP 1.6J or 2.0.1, remote monitoring, RFID, QR code and POS card payment options.

  • Protection

Over/under-voltage, overload, short-circuit, over-temperature and surge protection; Type A RCBO.

Installation requirements

  • Concrete foundation; cable entry from below
  • Supply sized from the input current per phase in the tables above
  • Optional 22 kW AC output for sites that also serve AC-only vehicles
  • Altitude up to 2,000 m; relative humidity 5–95 % non-condensing

Options

  • 21" advertising screen
  • POS card payment
  • 22 kW AC output
  • Type B RCBO
  • 4G and Wi-Fi modules
  • C4 anti-corrosion finish
  • Custom cable length, colours and logo (OEM)

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the IEC and North American versions?

IEC versions run on 230/400 V, 50/60 Hz and go up to 300 kW with CCS2 and CHAdeMO. North American versions run on 480 V, 60 Hz, go up to 360 kW and use CCS1, NACS and CHAdeMO.

How does power sharing work with two cars?

The cabinet's power is shared automatically. A single car can use the full output; when a second car connects, the power is divided between the two connectors.

What supply does a 180 kW charger need?

The VT-DF180 draws up to 279 A per phase at 400 V; the VT-DF180-NA draws up to 233 A per phase at 480 V. Your electrician sizes the supply and protection from these figures.

Can the charger show advertising?

Yes, a 21-inch advertising screen is available as an option.

Which certifications apply?

IEC versions are supplied with CE, UKCA and TÜV certification; North American versions with ETL and ENERGY STAR. We send the certificates for the exact model you order.
